It is the first time to use the Shell software under MAC, and make a simple record of the use process, hoping to help the friends in need. There are also a lot of Shell software under Mac. After comparison, I choose Royal TSX as the free software for my own use in a small number of machines.

First, the official use of instructions

First posted below is the official instructions for use as a reference, the official instructions are always the most accurate information, the author of the installation process is also according to the official documents.

Two, detailed use steps

1. Install the plug-in

Click on Royal TSX in the top left corner of the desktop, click on Preferences, and the following window appears. Click on Plugins in the list on the left, and the window for installing plug-ins appears. After finding the required Terminal and File Transfer plug-ins, click Apply & Close, and then restart Royal.

2. New Document

Royal TSX manages remote hosts in the form of a Document, so you need to create a new Document before you can establish a remote host connection.

First click File on the top menu bar, then select New Document from the drop-down list.



Then you can create the New Document directory as shown in the figure below. The Application directory is built-in to the software and cannot be modified or deleted.

3. Create a connection

Now you can right-click on Connections under the newly created Document to create a connection as shown in the following image, select Add, and then select Terminal.

4. Configure server information for connection

Now, the window shown in the following image will pop up, configure the host Name in Display Name (define yourself), keep the Connection Type the same, select Port 22 (see Remote Connection Machine Configuration), and fill in the host IP by Computer Name.



After completing the above information, click on the Credentials in the list to the left, pop up the following window, and select Specify.. , then fill in the host user name and password, and then click Apply & Close to complete the configuration.

5. Done!

Immediately, the following window appears
