Nightnight Team Introduction

NightTeam was officially established on September 9, 2019. The team consists of several powerful developers in the reptile field: Cui Qingcai, Zhou Ziqi, Chen Xiangan, Tang Yifei, Feng Wei, CAI Jin, Dai Huangjin, Zhang Yeqing and Wei Shidong.

NightTeam’s programming languages include but are not limited to Python, Rust, C++ and Go, covering crawler, deep learning, service development and object storage, etc. NightTeam has strong technical strength.

Why build a team?

According to past experience, it takes quite a long time to produce a good technical article, and it is difficult for readers to obtain systematic and extensive knowledge from a single author.

For authors, the accumulation of fans and the continuous writing of articles are a jogging process. Many excellent authors will pause writing due to the lack of fans, the gap between input and output is too large and other factors.

What’s more, the quality of the articles is getting lower and lower, the headlines are getting more and more deceptive, and the advertisements are getting more and more focused on how to increase followers and monetize. This cycle will affect the development of technosphere and technological ecology.

What if the best writers got together to run a series of technical media accounts that could guarantee quality writing without adding to the burden?

We don’t know, but we’re aware of it, and we’re trying to figure it out. This is the background of NightTeam.

What does the team hope to do?

The Internet is open, and technology is open. Proper sharing can accelerate our progress, and both authors and readers can gain something from the process of sharing.

In development, we will use several libraries and frameworks. When I started programming, I wanted to write open source projects one day to help other developers, which is exactly what nightfall wanted to do.

Of course, we want to do more than just write an open source project. We want to share our knowledge and spread it around the tech community so that more people can be helped.

What can a team bring to the developer?

Readers are of different abilities and stages, and they get different things from each other. Broadly speaking, readers can learn how to deal with problems, how to analyze problems, how to solve problems and the logic behind problems from the output of NightTeam.

If you are an intermediate crawler engineer, the NightTeam output may provide you with ideas for solving some anti-crawler problems in your work.

If you are a backend developer, you may have read about the differences between the two Redis persistence options and how they work from our posts like this one.

In what form does the team output content?

For the most part, we output content in the form of articles. But sometimes live broadcasts or video tutorials are used, and there may be opportunities for in-person communication.

In order to increase the spread and influence, we will not only publish our articles on wechat public account, but also synchronize our articles to several well-known platforms in the industry, such as Digijin Community, CSDN, SF, V2EX, Zhihu, Toutiao, etc.
