Although this knowledge may not benefit them in the short term, in the long run, they can get more opportunities. Do technology must be down to heart. So find a direction to delve deeper into next year. Look at some excellent source code. Get a little deeper and learn more about a big data open source project. Write columns. They feel confused, can not find the direction, because they always do a little here, where to do a little, three minutes enthusiasm, there is no a long-term accumulation. It’s not enough to touch the ceiling on your own. There is just dissatisfaction with current business development or laziness. Work is boring, tasteless. The business was monotonous, uncreative, and our work was organized by the day, with almost no slacking. . Next year to do a good study plan, can not be so mediocre. At the end of this year, I wrote very little blog, for many reasons, one is the work schedule is very tight, two is planning their own video tutorial, column tutorial, three is planning something, four is there is no new idea in the work, or technology to share, in fact, has been living on the past. Think about it and change your mind. There has been no input, output, and I’m a little panicked. To finish the current thing quickly, and then plan the next stage of things, calm down to improve their depth.
Dare I? Why can’t I do it?
Many things we stand outside the door, always feel that the door is not ready for themselves, they dare not to challenge, dare not to take the first step, to open up their own new field, even if they imagine that it will bring a lot of value to themselves. Such people have no enterprising and pioneering spirit. And I do this when I’m facing a brand new door. The door is going to be opened anyway, so why can’t it be me? Since it is so valuable, I am sure my investment will pay off. In the end, my bet turned out to be right. Node-red, ThingsBoard, GitLab CI/CD, write patents. That’s what I’ve been doing this year, and it’s paid off for me recently.
At first, there may be many people who don’t understand or even oppose what you have done. That’s ok. We need to keep our faith. Although the short-term may not produce too much value, but when the accumulation of enough, will be amazing everyone, their own will have the corresponding reward. In fact, there is also a problem of vision, if you choose a topic, or focus on a field that has not been recognized for a long time, or there are too many similar things, it is difficult to get ahead. It’s going to be harder to make an achievement, but on the other hand, if you believe in it, if you have a firm belief in it, then doing research on it, it’s going to be fun. For sure. So if you love it and trust it, go for it.
Do things with courage and confidence, since no one else to do it, then I fill the gap. Some people think that it’s best to learn things in the direction of the job, the needs of the team, the needs of the company. Other things are just a hobby for us, just like some people like playing the piano, trading stocks, learning roller skating or skiing. It makes no difference to spend your time doing what you love. Outside of work, always do something to distinguish others. Everyone else is learning TS, so can you, but someone on the team has already taken the technical high ground, and it’s going to be hard for you to overtake him and become more of an authority. So if you want to be more productive at work, look for things that no one else does, or does with a few people, that add a lot of value. All right, you’ve been taught how to get a raise. Learn. A lot of things this year have made me realize the power of persistence. With a certain amount of accumulation, in fact, you have mastered a resource, you can use this resource, in exchange for what you want. How to read
In 2021, I read too few books. I have been reading novels, such as “The Sword” and “Under the Sky”, catching up with the latest chapter. Sadly, I don’t have the willpower to stick to 10 pages of books on technology and management. Sad ah. So next year must read more, force oneself degree, ask oneself output reading notes. I read one page at a time if I have to. 🤣. Many books are tucked away and not read. It can’t happen again next year. I really don’t know how I get along, thinking about writing books when I don’t have many.
