If you’re a regular User of Excel, you know that it takes two hours or a day or two to get the visualizations that you want, and you have to go through a lot of data editing, and then you’re like, wow, that’s all it took?

Many people, and Excel fight to the end, some continue to insist, tired, but many people still do not understand such a simple truth: if there is a shortcut, why not take it?

Today I’m going to talk about shortcuts to Excel charts, which are probably the best way to get you to install X.

It can be seen that, in fact, a visual report is composed of various charts, which means that the chart is half successful if it looks good. Pie charts, bar charts, line charts, funnel charts, word clouds, data maps, etc., are all projects that add extra points to the report.

Using these diagrams, I created the following visualizations:

As good as Excel, right? In fact, I use professional data analysis tool **FineBI** and become, why choose FineBI this tool, in fact, mainly for the following reasons:

1, there are many advantages, zero code visualization, rich visualization chart, only need to drag drag can complete very cool visualization effect, with data integration, visual data processing, exploratory analysis, visual analysis report and other functions.

2. Although it is an enterprise tool, the personal version is free, which I find very nice.

3. Another point in line with the data trend is that self-service analysis can be realized, and the learning cost is very low. It hardly needs too profound programming foundation, and compared with many foreign tools, it is easy to use and very suitable for regular business personnel and operation personnel.

4. In terms of comprehensiveness, FineBI has outstanding performance, which does not require programming and is simple and easy to do. It can realize platform display and is suitable for enterprise users and individual users.

5, the price is not very expensive, you can charge by module.

Here are the specific implementation ideas:

  1. Upload Excel data;
  2. Create a self-service dataset. Merge the related fields of the two tables into the self-service dataset by merging the related fields of the two tables. (Displaying two Excel sheets in one component requires data consolidation because components can only be made from one data set);
  3. According to the self-help data to create components for visual components;
  4. Finally, the layout and beautification of components in the dashboard are carried out to optimize the data analysis and display effect.

Create a component

1. Connect to the data source

Click Data Preparation, select my self-service data set, and add EXCEL data set, as shown below:

2. Upload data

Take the table name, select text as the serial number in field type setting, and click OK, as shown in the picture below:

3. Click dashboard Tab

Select new dashboard and click OK, as shown below:

4. Drag and drop data

5. Select scatter chart from chart type, as shown below:

Note: The scatter chart can only be selected if there are more than one dimension and one indicator field in the horizontal and vertical axes. Otherwise, the scatter chart under the chart type will be grayed out and cannot be clicked.

2. Graphic property setting

1, color

After selecting the chart type, the graph property will automatically switch to dot graph. Click the color bar to set the display color of male and female respectively, and the effect is as shown in the picture below:

2, size,

Click on the size bar to fine-tune the radius of the integer point, as shown below:

What if you want to work with the axes and the presentation data?
