How do I renew my iPhone to change my IP address
Follow these steps to request a new IP address for the iPhone from the router:
Open the application.
On the Settings screen, click Wi-Fi.
A list of available networks appears. The one currently connected has a blue check mark. Click the Info (I) icon to the right of the network name.
Various data points and Settings for the active Wi-Fi network appear. Click to renew the lease.
Click Renewal again at the bottom of the screen.
How do I enter a static IP address on an iPhone
You can also manually change the IP address on your iPhone. However, you must be able to control the Wi-Fi router (or have a static IP from the network administrator). Enter the static IP address for the iOS device as follows:
Open the application.
On the Settings screen, click Wi-Fi.
A list of nearby networks appears. The connected icon is marked with a blue check mark. Click the Info (I) icon to the right of the network name.
Click Configure IP.
Click Manual.
Displays a new section labeled “Manual IP”. Enter the static IP address and its corresponding subnet mask and router address
