For the past learning and practice, what is the result of the results?

Starting a business is both painful and happy. In daily work, we often think about problems from the perspective of current business, fall into business barriers and various contradictions, and cannot calmly think about long-term development from the perspective of business.

A qualified professional, whether it is a product, research and development, testing, operation and maintenance or a project manager, who wants to be a one-man manager, must be able to calm down and think about the current business situation, opportunities and challenges. The IDCF DevOps Hackathon dissolves a project entrepreneurship process into 7 key modules, decouples complex project problems, gives systematic thinking to each link, and finds the breaking point of the business.

The IDCF DevOps Hackathon site is divided into 7 modules

  • Module 1: Learn the end-to-end DevOps 5P framework, and have a basic understanding of DevOps concepts and methods.
  • Module 2: Business model innovation, through the business model canvas to solve the key problems of the project, mining users’ pain points, design a sexy business model for the project;
  • Module 3: Product function planning. By sorting out the product vision, defining the core value of the product, and using the user story map to sort out the core functions of the product, the product MVP prototype was built;
  • Module 4: Make product iteration plan, learn and master skills such as story point estimation, iteration goal design, task disassembly and claim, set up physical Kanban and prepare for implementation;
  • Module 5: Build continuous delivery pipeline on site, build development environment and branch strategy, build continuous delivery pipeline, sort out micro-service architecture and complete online delivery of the first iteration MVP version;
  • Module 6: Use impact map to sort out product cold start planning;
  • Module 7: Presentation the project plan and Demo the product. PK of each group will be the winner.

Among the seven modules, five modules that correspond to a project in business planning, product planning and iteration planning, delivery, assembly line and operation of five important promotion plan, lecturer for each module and training key points, and in the real business projects in the field practice and improvement, grasp the broken method of each link.

In these 7 modules, the thinking and methods of Lean, Agile and DevOps are included, which can help the team develop the engineering culture and work concept of continuous delivery while reducing cost and increasing efficiency.

There is also a special link in this dark horse scene. IDCF specially planned the round table discussion of dark horse scene, and conducted Q&A based on the pain points of practice.

(Problems and Pain Points)

We hope that more teams will participate in the IDCF DevOps Hackathon, to be with the best, to experience back-to-back team collaboration, and to learn the essence of end-to-end delivery.

(Student evaluation)

It is worth mentioning that the 2020 Dark Horse (Beijing and Shenzhen) is dominated by teams organized by companies. The familiarity and tacit understanding between members greatly contributed to the performance of the team in the race.

The team is the cornerstone of the continuous growth of the enterprise. With the help of partners from the cooperative departments, an enterprise team can complete the whole process from product idea to code delivery within 36 hours, immersing every participant into production from point to point and effectively bringing the learning results back to the enterprise. DevOps Dark Horse helps participants develop a new understanding of the product life cycle, looking at the current situation and solving problems from a new perspective.

For the past learning and practice, what is the result of the results? A DevOps Hackathon is the perfect test!
