How to write a good essay is too big a topic. It can’t be summed up in a single word. But we have to think big and write articles, just like we design all kinds of IT products, from the user’s point of view.

What is user thinking or reader thinking

Do IT friends, are very understand user thinking. User thinking also applies to writing. User thinking in writing can also be called reader thinking.

I’m sure many of you have read articles about the idea that writing (especially online writing) should not be self-indulging. I quite agree with this view. To put it more explicitly, self-centered writing is not welcome on the Internet.

Most of the time, we don’t want to admit that we’re on a high, but we might say, “I only write about what interests me.”

But do research to see if what you’re interested in is in line with what most readers are interested in. As we have said before, writing can be for yourself or for the public. If you’re writing something purely for yourself, like a journal (not a high school teacher’s diary essay), it’s private, completely personal, and just for yourself. You can be self-satisfied, self-absorbed, and write only what you want.

If you’re writing for the general public, think about the needs of your readers — the needs of your readers are multilayered, like “vent,” like “talk,” like “feel,” like “learn,” like “wonder. It’s all demand.

If I don’t have readers thinking or user thinking at the time of writing, I very easy to make such a mistake: although my original intention is to the public, I’d like to introduce something useful to the reader, but I’ll tell lay terms, say a mathematical formula with literary youth, adults speaking with children, told farmers with pidgin English,… In fact, we are not malicious, not to show off, I just used to the fact that we have met, but did not seriously think for each other.

One of my computer science book authors, he writes a new kind of software development book for beginners. I said to him, you need to look at those beginner programming books that are selling really well, how to get into it, and think about the state of learning for beginners, so that they can understand it. Don’t jump out with a chunk of code. Where did the code come from? How can the reader begin to enter the code interface? What did the little friend say to me? ‘I never read basic books,’ he says. ‘I read difficult books, original books.’ If a writer thinks this way, he can hardly write a book that beginners will like.

This is a typical case. Many of us do this consciously or not. When we learn 1, we forget how we learned to go from 0 to 1 and take it for granted.

A great scientist who can write popular science works that children can understand is truly admirable.

They understand what children can read. In the fashion parlance, they understand the user mind. So, in fact, user thinking is when you are talking to your child, squat down, look him in the eye, and his equal, see things through his eyes.

(When I was in Germany, I noticed that parents always squatted down and talked to their children, very respectful of their feelings. Very educated. Original photo of Salem School building, a famous private high school in Germany. Pictures have nothing to do with the subject.
