In Windows 10 Build 20161, Microsoft updated the default Alt+Tab behavior to include the Microsoft Edge Tab page (Chromium version), which allows users to switch between apps and Edge browser tabs.

Each TAB of the browser shown in the figure becomes a TAB TAB. If too many pages are opened, it will look very cluttered. Currently, there is no setting of the browser to close this separate TAB. Settings are available through Windows 10

Change Alt + TAB to only open Windows to restore normal.
