Win2008 FTP can not use the problem

Here I make a graphic tutorial, I hope to give you some reference.

First let’s install IIS and enable FTP in IIS.

1.

Click on the

service
device

Start menu next to the server Manager small icon, open server management

Some versions do

2. Click Add Role in Roles.

3. Open the Add Roles Wizard and click Next.

4. Select Web Server (IIS) and go to Next.

5. Move on to “Next step.”

6, select the role service, select the items you need, do not need to check, in order to avoid unexpected errors, continue to select “Next”. At the bottom, ftP-related content must be checked

7. Move on to “Next.”

8. Select Install.

9. After the installation is successful, the installation succeeded message is displayed and the installation window is closed.

10, Now let’s create a new FTP to try, go to IIS -> FTP site -> New FTP site

Description Enter the name of your FTP site, IP address: none assigned, port: 21 by default (if port 21 is already occupied by another FTP, you need a port, such as 20171 or 20172 or 20173…)

FTP User isolation Select not to quarantine users

FTP Home Directory Select the FTP directory you want to set up

Allow permission check read and write

Click Finish, set up the FTP, then right click on the FTP, select Properties, and in the Account security options, remove the check box before allowing anonymous connections

Go back to Server Management – > Local User and Group – > User – > New user. Create an account and password for FTP user login

Enter the user name and password, and check that the password cannot be changed and the password will never expire

Go back to FTP Management, right-click the new FTP site, and click Permissions. Then in the window that pops out in turn, click Edit, add, enter the new user name just now, and all permissions on the hook

11. Now let’s set up the firewall of the server and the security group of Ali Cloud to avoid the remote FTP connection problem

Enter the server firewall Settings, as shown in the following figure

Click Add Program, select the following file C:\Windows\System32\ inetSrv \ inetInfo.exe and put the check box in front of the FTp server,

If you change the FTP port number, you also need to add the port number and tick it

12, security group Settings, enter the Ali Cloud console – “select your cloud server ECS, click more -> Security group configuration

Add the public network inbound direction to your FTP port, or allow all ports, depending on your personal requirements

Now we can test whether FTP works properly.

Open my computer (not in a browser) and type in FTP address plus port

Enter the user name and password, click Login, create a folder after login, and rename it 123

Look in the FTP directory of the server, you have created a new folder 123.

At this point FTP is set up smoothly.

Sometimes there are some strange problems with FTP connection, such as:

That is because the connection mode is not correct, click tools under the folder (if not, press Alt, toolbar will show), go to Internet options, click Advanced, will use passive FTP(for firewall….) If the check box is checked, uncheck it. If not, uncheck it. Try again and you can log in to FTP.

If you use FTP, change the connection mode (passive or active) and try again if you cannot connect.
