In the application process, I stepped on some potholes. Here, record the application process, friends can refer to, the required materials prepared in advance, to avoid delay.
What is a domain name?
Domain name, colloquially speaking, is what we call “web site”.
www.baidu.com is the domain name of baidu.
Of course, we can also have our own domain name.
Once we have a domain name, we can point it to an Ip address on the Internet and post something there. In this way, you have your own website.
Generally speaking, domain names can be applied through domain name agents.
In China, such as Wanwang, Ali Cloud, Tencent cloud, Huawei cloud are domain name agents, you can apply to these organizations.
Because Leng Feng is applied on Ali Cloud, the following uses Ali Cloud as an example to introduce the application process of the domain name.
Domain name to apply for
- Visit https://www.aliyun.com.
- Once logged in, click “Console”, search for “Domain name”, and click in.
Click “Register domain name”.
Search for the domain name you want to register in the input box.
Select an unregistered domain name and add it to the list.
Settle immediately and buy it.
Note that after the domain name is purchased, real-name authentication must be performed; otherwise, the domain name is unavailable.
Real-name authentication of domain names
Materials required:
- Domain Name Holder ID Card (Personal)
- Domain name holder (enterprise) business license
Take time:
- Template information real name, 1 day.
- Domain name real-name authentication, 1 day.
Operation steps:
- After the domain name is purchased, click “Domain Name List” to see the domain name you just purchased.
- Click “Authentication without real name” to jump to the authentication page.
- Click “View” for real-name authentication.
According to the subject is an individual or enterprise, input different information, then submit.
- After submission, “Template Info” will enter the review state. It will take about a day.
- Real-name authentication is implemented only after the real-name Information template is approved.
Domain name real-name authentication usually takes 1 day.

Why file?
Here is the official explanation of Aliyun:
Server in Mainland China, must be put on record, otherwise cannot access.
List of materials required for ICP filing
- Business license
- Information of the person in charge of the sponsor (generally legal person), including id card photos, mobile phone number, emergency mobile phone number, email, etc.
- Website information, including website name, domain name and IP address (only with Aliyun server or record service number)
- Website person information, including id card positive and negative photos, mobile phone number, emergency mobile phone number, email, etc.
- Site head face verification
Put on record main body is a person, it is id card commonly, some provinces may still need other data. Specific points can be opened ali cloud record requirements to see.
Time required for ICP filing:
- Time after real name, 3 working days
- Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, management bureau review, 1 ~ 22 working days
After waiting for domain name real-name authentication 3 working days, domain name can be put on record.

Filing and submission process
- Fill in the sponsor information
- Fill in the information of the person in charge
- Fill in the website information
- Upload pictures and complete face authentication using Aliyun APP
- After completing the above four steps, what is left is to wait for aliyun review, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology review and management bureau review.
