Introduction to the

As a technical marketer of interest, I often need to publish articles on multiple platforms. Not only is it very tiring, but it’s easy to forget. Thinking there must be a tool to solve this problem, I did some research.

Today, I would like to introduce to you the results of my search and comparison: WeChatSync, which is called “wechat public account synchronization assistant” in Chinese. It’s a Chrome add-on that can theoretically support browsers with Chromium cores, such as Edge.

The installation

It could have been installed via the store with one click, but due to the problems of accessing the Chrome Store on the Domestic network, we had to download the installation package manually.

Visit wechatSync.com and click the “Install now” button.

Then click “Download installation package” button to download and decompress the package.

The plug-in management page is displayed.

Open developer mode in your browser.

Then click the “load unpacked plug-in” button and select the folder that you just unpacked, so that the plug-in is installed.

use

Click the Wechatsync plugin icon to bring up the functionality panel.

If you’re already logged in to a lot of accounts on your browser, it’s going to show up on this page if you’re not logged in, you can just go to the website and log in and the add account button is really just a collection of entries to various websites.

When we log in B station, click the plug-in page again, you can see the account information.

At this time, right click on the article page of the column of B station, choose “Extract article and synchronize”, the content of the article will be extracted to a separate interface.

Click the sync button to the right of the content, check the platform to sync, and then click Sync.

WechatSync currently supports 22 sites, including the major social media and technology communities, which are listed on the official website.

WechatSync is free and open source, and its source code is available on GitHub, thanks to the author’s selfless contribution.

That’s all for our introduction. Try it out for yourself.
