Compared with Windows, the impressive feature of macOS is that the software installation process is more humanized, and the App Store software library itself provides installation and update support, which has obvious ecological advantages.

Today I’m going to share with you two little Mac apps that I’ve been using

Pa. per: Automatic wallpaper switch, beautiful and no sense

Pap.er for Mac

As a wallpaper switcher, Pa. per does all the right things — it shows you a preview of every wallpaper you can in a small screen. By placing the cursor over one of the preview images, users can click “Set as desktop” to download and set the wallpaper directly. If an image reaches 4K or 5K, there will be a sign in the upper right corner of the preview to tell the user.

The Pa. per logo in the upper left corner adopts a transparent design, which presents a different look and feel when each image is crossed.

Users can also choose their own wallpaper according to the “latest”, “hottest” or “portrait screen” three different categories.

Downloaded wallpaper will be saved in the “access” – “pictures” “pa.per” folder, users can also change the storage location according to their own needs, set every hour or every day from the network or image library wallpaper switch.

In fact, the function of this software is very simple, small footprint, beautiful appearance, and it is difficult to have particularly unsatisfactory wallpaper. Over time, you’ll have your own copyrighted wallpaper library before you know it.

Dropover: The “easy” super file organizer

Dropover for MAC (Enhanced drag and drop operation tool)

When we use computers, we can’t avoid dealing with all kinds of files – copying and pasting files, deleting and moving files is what we often need to do every day. My personal habit is to clean up some useless files in each folder before leaving work every weekend to ensure the cleanliness of my computer.

On both Windows and macOS, you can select multiple files, but only in a single folder. The system cannot select different files across multiple folders, so sorting through folders can be time-consuming.

Dropover is a software that integrates organizing and searching materials. It cleverly uses a “box” as an “intermediary” that allows the user to put files together in different locations and follow through.

Simply select a file and flick the mouse to bring up the “box” as a place to put the file. After pulling up the box, the user can switch between folders at will and drag files that need to be organized or moved into them.

You can even use Dropover to select images or text you like while browsing the web, then “shake” and drag them into a “box” for later use.

By right-clicking on the box, users can also do different things with files, including “airdrop” and copying iCloud links.
