Three types of penetration testing for network security

Black box testing

External test

The internal structure of the target network and the program used are completely unknown, and its network security is evaluated from outside the network

White box testing

Internal testing

The internal structure and technical details of the environment being tested are well known, and the goals are clearly defined.

Grey box testing

Knowing information about part of the target network does not give you a grasp of the inner workings of the network and the limiting information
