Today, most Internet companies address their business needs through spreadsheets or databases. Although databases are useful, they do not provide the same speed of use, and therefore, in certain cases, cannot be said to be efficient.

Many of you know the online form app Airtable, and it’s not just about tables, it’s about putting together text, images, links, documents, and more.

Today, Xiao Liang recommends an open source alternative to Airtable, NocoDB, which turns a relational database into a smart spreadsheet and allows you to connect to any cloud service (S3 for file storage, for example) and third-party apps (Slack for workflow, Twilio, Even Discord, Teams, WhatsApp, etc.).

As a result, NocoDB can work with its team to build code-free applications. NocoDB currently works with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, Amazon Aurora, and MariaDB databases. NocoDB also supports basic functions like filtering, sorting, and hiding columns and rows.

At present, NocoDB has been listed on Github with 11.3K star and 614 branches (Github address: github.com/nocodb/noco…).

Here’s a look at the NocoDB interface:
