The Data Pump export utility provides a mechanism for transferring data objects
between Oracle databases. The utility is invoked with the following command:

   Example: expdp scott/tiger DIRECTORY=dmpdir DUMPFILE=scott.dmp

You can control how Export runs by entering the 'expdp' command followed
by various parameters. To specify parameters, you use keywords:

   Format:  expdp KEYWORD=value or KEYWORD=(value1,value2,...,valueN)
   Example: expdp scott/tiger DUMPFILE=scott.dmp DIRECTORY=dmpdir SCHEMAS=scott
               or TABLES=(T1:P1,T1:P2), if T1 is partitioned table

USERID must be the first parameter on the command line.

SQLFILE

SQLFILE is a parameter of the data pump. Using this parameter, the import does not actually execute the import command. Only the SQL text generated by the export command is generated, which is a good use of it to generate SQL statements for creating table Spaces, creating users, creating tables, creating indexes, and so on.

The following uses index creation as an example:

Retrieve index creation statements using the DBMS package

set long 9999 line 9999 pages 9999 SELECT dbms_lob.substr(dbms_metadata.get_ddl('INDEX',INDEX_NAME,'SCOTT'))||'; ' from dba_indexes where owner='SCOTT';Copy the code

— Business users

conn jieke/jieke123
select dbms_metadata.get_ddl('INDEX',u.object_name) from user_objects u where object_type='INDEX'
Copy the code

Create index statement using SQLfile function of EXPDP and IMPDP. Take Scott as an example, you can also export the whole library.

expdp \'/ as sysdba \' directory=exp_dir dumpfile=index.dmp schemas=scott logfile=out_index.log cluster=n include=INDEX

impdp \'/ as sysdba \' directory=exp_dir dumpfile=index.dmp logfile=index.log cluster=n sqlfile=cre_index.sql include=INDEX
Copy the code

Note: SQLFILE parameter This parameter can be used for impDP. It is used to generate a SQL file containing all DDL statements of the DMP file in the case that the import is not executed at the target end. The syntax is

SQLFILE=[directory_object:]file_name

Matters needing attention:

1. The directory_object parameter can be different from the impDP DIRECTORY parameter. If it is the same, the directory_object parameter can be omitted

2. The SQLFILE file must be written to disks and cannot be written to ASM

3.SQLFILE and QUERY parameters conflict and cannot be used at the same time.
