Recently, authoritative consulting firm Forrester released the 2021 Q2 Global Data Flow Analysis Report. With its leading real-time computing products, developer friendliness and large-scale practices, AliCloud has advanced into the “strong performer” quadrant of the report, which has refresh the best performance of domestic companies in the data flow computing field.

Forrester, one of the world’s most authoritative IT consulting and evaluation organizations, conducted in-depth analysis and rating on 14 selected international most important data flow analysis providers from three dimensions: product, strategy and market performance, and more than 20 evaluation rules based on 12 criteria. Compared with the previous report, the criteria were more stringent. According to Forrester analysts, Aliyun’s Ververica has a leading advantage in performance, analysis and deployment options, conforming to the evaluation standard of Strong Performers quadrant.

Data flow analysis is also known as “dancing big data”. Real-time computing derived from data flow analysis has become one of the most popular technologies in the world. Through real-time computing, enterprises can grasp what is happening in real time. Ververica, one of the strong performers in the quadrant, is Alibaba’s data-intelligent commerce company, whose Flink platform is one of the most popular real-time computing platforms in the world.

Apache Flink, an open source community based on Flink, is also one of the most active big data communities in the world, with more than 20W developer followings, the number of stars on GitHub and the number of Flink contributors growing by more than 30% each year.

At present, AliCloud real-time computing has been widely used in the financial industry, online education, Internet trading and other industries, including the annual Tmall “Double 11” real-time screen, which can display data of various dimensions in real time and timely guide the operation of e-commerce platform.

An Internet insurance company built a real-time data warehouse based on AliCloud real-time computing Flink, and divided its application scenarios into three categories: marketing activities, real-time large screen and anti-fraud. The platform provides low delay, low resource consumption, high efficiency, high precision and other capabilities, to meet the needs of high real-time business. The company also takes advantage of the features of the Flink platform to enrich the input and output interfaces and ensure data quality.
