The new Flow. ci Dashboard is now available, making it easier to create projects, with new branches, Pull Requests, and a new build list

Easier and faster to create projects

New version of the default option recently used code warehouse and create the project organization, project creation process from the previous version of the “select project – choose code warehouse – choose organization – select the project” the four steps of reduced to “choose code warehouse – choose organization” two step, on the left shows individual account and organization at the same time, on the right side of the display has been authorized by the project, also more clear and convenient.

New build list page

After creating the project, we started building. The whole build list page was reconstructed, listing the “All Build”, “branch” and “PullRequest” pages respectively for the builder’s reference. First, in the overall build you can filter the branches and choose which branch you want to focus on.

The entire build page to “build tasks” as the core, when build tasks to complete, can clearly see the build id and branch name, build status (stopped/success/failure), related to the construction of the initiator and the build log, at the same time can also be seen in the task list on the right side construction time, construction time, the organization name. It is worth mentioning here that we have added a new repository link for the build project, so that it is easy to see the last committed code compared to the updated code and locate the failed build code.

One more tiny detail, click on the “View my submissions only” button and you can focus more on your build tasks.

Add new branches

The branches page is displayed, which is divided into concerned branches and active branches. You can preview and summarize the latest five construction results of each branch.

Focus on the master branch by default; Active branches show branches that have been built more recently by default, optionally marking branches that are relatively important at the top.

The more popular Pull Request

We found that developers pay more attention to the build results of the Pull Request during the build process, and it is easier to view them separately. On the right side of each Pull Request build result, a link to the repository of the build project is also added, which corresponds to the branches of the Pull Request build to facilitate the view of code build changes.

This is a revamped version of the new Dashboard page, hope you’ll enjoy it and find us on the website [online message] or in the flow.ci community for any feedback during use.

Enjoy 🙂
