The meaning of life

As of today, the National Day holiday is basically over. A student in a group of friends suddenly sent out a question: What is the meaning of living?

The heart of torture

alive

This question reminds me of a book I read last year, Yu Hua’s famous book “To Live”.

How tragic is the life experience of protagonist Xu Fugui? Or rather, one sad word doesn’t quite describe his life. He endured the loss of his family (parents, wife, children, grandchildren) until he was left alone with a cow, but he kept going.

Maybe he just wanted to tell the world that there is hope while we live

life

In the early to shenzhen

After the holiday, I think back to myself, I have been in Shenzhen for half a year.

When I first arrived, it was evening, and I made myself a midnight snack: simply boiled noodles, added an egg and some lettuce.

Although simple, rough, but the evening is really very hungry, still eat very sweet 😑

Deeply loves the life

Later life slowly improved, in the dormitory to eat all kinds of pasta: noodles, pancakes, steamed buns, boiled dough

If it were not for the epidemic, I might not eat so much pasta 😭

All kinds of omelets. I love this little pan. It’s perfect for omelets and pancakes

The meaning of life

I have been in Shenzhen for almost half a year, and I have got used to and enjoyed every moment in this city:

  • Choose carefully when shopping for vegetables
  • The flow and coolness of water when washing vegetables
  • The crisp sound of the knife and chopping board
  • The oil drizzled in the frying pan and the spatula
  • Of course, my favorite food is dancing on the tip of my tongue to enjoy the brief happiness of that moment

Food has a temperature that can warm you, and hopefully, others, if you’re lucky

In such a fast-paced city as Shenzhen, it is not easy to find something I love and stick to after busy work.

In Shenzhen, the house is rented with friends, but the life it is not 😊

I hope I will always be the person who loves life. To live is to make myself happy and the people around me happy
