The company was established less than 5 months ago and officially joined the company less than 2 months ago. After several major changes in product direction, the company was finally disbanded. Why is that? I will summarize the reasons for the dissolution of the company and my personal growth process in the company.

As a development, I thoroughly understand enough, can only say about: we want to do is a set of institutions, doctors, patients, as one of the platform, patients can submit an online profile (graphic, voice, video) way to generate a physician orders, further diagnosis according to the different ways of physician visits the doctor, and then prescribing distribution process.

I joined the company around September 10th. Before that, I had already negotiated an offer of a blockchain company. Finally, I chose a medical product company for several reasons:

Technology growth

I am a front-end developer. My main job is to develop user interface, do well in interaction and communicate data interface with back-end colleagues. I have done full stack, which feels nice, but the quality still needs to be improved. As the saying goes, “Let the professional do the professional”, I still want to improve on the front end, and here I have improved my development process:

  • Static page writing and interactive implementation
  • The interface alignment

I learned two new things under the standard development process: OIDC and Swagger, neither of which I had ever worked with before.

You usually use the third party login almost all use OIDC this technology, especially in the big Internet companies: Microsoft, Tencent, Ali and so on. Oidc does single sign-on and identity authentication, for example, you log in to Google account, you visit YouTube, any website under Google do not need to log in again.

Swagger is primarily used by the back end to generate interface documentation, making debugging and the front end easier. I’ve expanded on this: Swagger automatically generates interface functions.

In development projects, the most annoying is to name interface functions, add comments, copy urls, pass parameters and so on. I extended an open source project on Github, which can be customized to generate the above things, greatly saving time and improving code quality.

Workplace skills

What impressed me most was a colleague who left his job first. He just graduated and should be excellent in dealing with people. Although the skills are not that great, the spirit of asking questions when you don’t know, admitting your shortcomings, and daring to take the lead is worth learning from, and more importantly, bringing some laughter to the dull office atmosphere. 🤣 I flatter you

Entrepreneurial thoughts

It’s not often that the boss is successful in his first business (making games). Right time, right place, right person, I think. Don’t look at him so scenery, a car, a house and money, but when the business behind the kind of hardships, how can you experience?

As a partner of our eldest brother, this is his third time to start a business, but he still failed in the end, but he said he would not give up the business, despite the pressure from all aspects of the family.

I also want to start my own business. The current plan is to work for a few more years to improve the technology to a level that is enough to develop a good product and then go back to my hometown to open a restaurant. When the shop is busy, I will do business, and when I am free, I will write codes to make products.

That’s where I am now, but it’s more than that.
