The “Google to find pictures” feature cannot be used

The device already uses the VPN tool to surf the web, but when using Google to find images, the error message “cannot upload images” keeps appearing. This is usually because you have not configured Eagle’s proxy Settings.

How to solve this problem:

In the following, the VPN tool “Shadowsocks” is used as an example for configuration operation. Different tools have different HTTP proxy ports, which does not affect the operation mode:

Open the proxy tool and go to the Edit Server Settings project

Remember the “HTTP Proxy Port” of the currently selected server (1080 for Windows, 1087 for MacOS)

Open Eagle, click the System menu and select “Preferences”.

In the Preferences screen, click “Proxy Settings” on the left.

Check the Enable HTTP Proxy Server option and enter the port number you just remembered in Port

After clicking Save Settings, try Google Find Images again.

The function of the VPN tool described in the article should be available for the use of the entire device application. If it is a proxy tool installed in the browser extension, the function of the tool is limited to the use of the browser, and cannot support the use of other local applications.
