Wang Hongyan, senior director of industry Operation Center of Wechat Product Department of Tencent Enterprise, shared the theme of “The Development of Internet and wechat of enterprises” in the special session of government affairs. The following content is compiled from the speech.
Everybody is good! I’m Wang Hongyan from the wechat department of the enterprise. Today I am very happy to talk with you about the product of enterprise wechat. At the beginning of the establishment of enterprise wechat, we had a vision that every institution should have its own wechat. After launching the enterprise wechat, we launched the government wechat for the government Intranet this product. How do these products help people? WeChat is a social connection tool, based on the social connection provides the ability of communication, enterprise WeChat provide organization between an individual, including organization between the individual and the connection between the socialization of individual, broke the social organization boundary, e-government WeChat is within the scope of the government high internal control provides assurance function flow, business flow and effective running tool.
How will these three tools be divided in the future social service system of enterprises and governments? We thought we could do it in different scenes. As a citizen is to use wechat, in providing services to the public institutions or enterprises is the enterprise wechat, as the ultimate management and central brain is in the government wechat. In the development of the Internet and the growth process of enterprise wechat, Internet enterprises in the past paid much attention to the individual market. Focusing on the individual market helped us connect with socialization, accumulate technical ability, package products, and promote the iteration of business model. With the development of the Internet, the digital transformation of the individual market has come ahead of the enterprise market. As an Internet company, we will think about what challenges and opportunities we face when a new market opens up.
I tried to interpret the company’s new product positioning and new development direction from the perspective of a Tencent employee, sharing our thinking on products by interpreting the company’s 1, 3, 5 and 7. Tencent cloud positioning to do digital transformation assistant, digital transformation is what? On products we think that an organization’s digital transformation will be divided into four steps, the first step is to build a digital connection, the second step is based on the digital connection, the use of digital tools to improve efficiency, the third step is on the basis of digital tools using settle data assets, in turn, drive and optimize the operation process. After the first three steps, an organization’s digital transformation can achieve phased results, based on which it will go to the fourth step, the output of digital products and services.
Based on this understanding, Tencent contributes to the digital transformation of the enterprise through three roles. Connectivity is the foundation, and once you have connectivity, you can use tools to provide efficiency. Connectivity and tools will naturally lead to ecological change, better enabling the digital transformation of businesses and organizations. We will focus on five areas, with people’s livelihood affairs as the top priority. We attach great importance to cooperation with the government and hope to give better play to the foundation and resources of Internet companies in this field. We provide 7 tools: public account, mini program, mobile payment, social advertising, enterprise wechat, cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence and security capabilities. The first four are more popular and social enterprises. Enterprise wechat is in a link between the past and the future. We will connect the socialized tools with the scenes of enterprises and governments, and carry out effective integration on the platform of enterprise wechat. Enterprise wechat is more like wechat ecology to open a door for enterprises and the government, so that we can better touch the social, digital network.
Let me briefly introduce the ability of enterprise wechat. Enterprise wechat has four core competencies: First, consistent communication experience with wechat. Corporate wechat has always been committed to providing a better way to communicate, allowing valuable information to flow through the organization at a high speed. Because both the interface and the basic way of interaction, enterprise wechat and wechat are very similar, so enterprise wechat can let employees get started at zero cost. Second, the ability to connect to wechat. Connecting to wechat allows enterprises to extend the capabilities of wechat to the outside of government agencies. The four functions connected to wechat are message exchange, mini program, enterprise payment and micro workbench. The third is the rich variety of applications. We not only provide the original applications, but also support a large number of third-party applications into the organization through the wechat platform of the enterprise, enriching the digital transformation toolbox through the ecological power. At the same time, we also use API access to government and enterprise self-built applications to help organizations extend their business systems. Fourthly, we provide comprehensive security guarantee. We have obtained grade III protection certification, and our data security control ability has been recognized by the Public Security Bureau.
By the end of last year, tens of thousands of government agencies had used enterprise wechat, which forms a closed loop with existing city services and small programs to provide intimate services for the masses. As an example, recently the team was discussing the family doctor scenario, and we concluded that the family doctor scenario currently has two obstacles. The first is how to effectively establish a connection, and is a real name with the new connection; Second, how to ensure the consistency and consistency of the service level of family doctors? We set up such a scene that there is a QR code at the door of each residential building. Residents take out their mobile phones and scan this QR code, which is connected to the family doctor on the wechat terminal of the enterprise. Because enterprise wechat is real-name authentication, efficient and trusted connections are established. Secondly, on the family doctor side, many ecological digital tools are introduced through the wechat platform of the enterprise, such as graded diagnosis and treatment, referral and remote consultation, including the knowledge base of doctors to support quick query and acquisition of knowledge, so as to help family doctors provide consistent service experience to the public.
In the number of users, the growth of enterprise wechat is also very fast. By the end of 2017, 1.5 million enterprises had come to the enterprise wechat with the organization code certificate and carried out real-name authentication; 30 million active users use wechat for enterprises; More than 80 percent of China’s top 500 companies have opened their corporate wechat accounts, which have been widely recognized in the market.
Enterprise wechat is also very focused on the digital transformation of government agencies. We have values such as: accelerating the flow of effective information within and outside the organization based on connectivity; Based on interoperability, form a closed loop to improve the efficiency of people’s livelihood services; Improve the operation efficiency of the mechanism based on tools; Based on ecology, digital management of the organization is created to make the original system more agile, make the data more clearly identified, and form a self-circulation inside.
What can government agencies do with enterprise wechat? Enterprise wechat is a connector, not just a tool for administrators. On the G2C connection, it’s citizens. There used to be citizen hotlines, connected by numbers and address books; And citizen mail, which is the government’s way of connecting citizens. However, the business logic and complexity that telephone and mailbox can carry are limited. The establishment of connections based on the communication between enterprise wechat and wechat can make government connections more efficient and agile through a more popular form of expression, while carrying the conveyed content. These are some of the ways we connect to communication, and small programs can be very useful in connecting. In our digital Guangdong project, the small program of Guangdong province is to connect the government and citizens together. The connection of G2B is the management of internal employees. On the one hand, it makes the work more orderly, and on the other hand, it can effectively guide the problems in the work and life of employees. G2G connectivity, by the regional government, the interworking between departments, facilitate communication and management. For example, in earthquake disaster emergency response, transportation, meteorological and earthquake departments can be connected, and action teams can be formed quickly to provide services in an agile manner. The connection of G2B builds enterprise service market and ecosystem, such as tax declaration system, which can be linked to the wechat of each enterprise to effectively realize online processing and solve the trouble caused by the dimission of relevant personnel.
