The TODO Working Group is a “B2B” platform with members from open source offices within companies. TODO aims to build open source governance communication platform, so that enterprises with mature open source culture can help those who want to start experimenting with open source to export experience, avoid detours, exchange best practices, and help open source collaboration in the entire enterprise ecosystem. The TODO working group currently includes Google, Microsoft, Facebook, AWS, Huawei,
Baidu and other corporate members.

Tencent Open Source Management Office is an organization under Tencent Technical Committee responsible for external open source management. Currently, it consists of open source project management Group, Tencent Open Source Alliance and Open Source Compliance Group. Through the open source review platform, the open source Management Office incubates and cultivates excellent independent open source projects within Tencent, passing on Tencent’s open source strategy from top to bottom and implementing the open source technology ecosystem from bottom to top. In addition, the Open Source Management Office of Tencent also provides opportunities for developers to cooperate with open source foundations and open source communities at home and abroad, and return outstanding projects to the community to build an open source centered technology ecosystem.

In the future, Tencent will continue to be committed to spreading open source culture and sharing its open source governance experience
Other corporate partners in TODO contribute to the prosperity of the open source ecosystem, and constantly improve their own open source mechanisms and specifications through communication with peers, so as to jointly build the open source collaborative technology ecosystem.

· How does TODO work internally?

At present
TODO members are composed of 50 international leading technology companies, including Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Github and others that have achieved a leading position and great influence in the construction of open source culture. TODO’s mission is to communicate and discuss the challenges and experiences of open source within and outside the enterprise, especially how to effectively replicate the successful open source office and open source culture, and to create an open and collaborative technology community.

Each month,
TODO website (https://todogroup.org/blog/) will introduce a company open source office and open source culture strategy. This provides a showcase for a company to comb through its open source strategy and compare and compare with its peers. In addition, Mailing list, newsletter and Slack channel are three ways of communication in TODO, which mainly solve real-time problems and interactive discussions. We can also contact the person in charge of the open source office of other companies as soon as possible through these channels to discuss and communicate on specific issues. The TODO Working Group has three offline meetings a year, which are held in LF OSS (Open Source Developer Conference) North America, Asia Pacific and Europe. This provides a face-to-face opportunity for open source offices.
