Conclusion 2021
How time flies, the year is over in a flash. It’s been a while since 2022 started, and it’s time to take stock of last year. 2021 will be a year of struggle and happiness. Why struggle a year? This year, I made a lot of efforts to get promoted, although the promotion was hopeless… But also try their best, but the leadership has no idea is also no way, alas. So why another happy year? It was a happy year to have completed a major milestone in my life in 21 years and to have a new baby in the second half of this year.
Reviewing the flags in 2021, WE find that many of them have not been realized. Some of them are due to promotion, so we have adjusted the direction, prioritizing work output and slowing down personal promotion. The other part is lazy ~ haha ~ first look at the Flag of the year before, and then summarize one by one:
Flag1: Keep a good attitude, be organized, and don’t panic
21 years of mental attitude is not bad, but when I know the performance in the middle of the year, I still feel very uncomfortable, because I feel that there is no hope for promotion in 21 years, of course not necessarily, after all, the year-end performance has not started, maybe there is a glimmer of hope. Communication with leaders is still less, which may also be a factor affecting promotion, so it needs to be strengthened, not too conservative. It is a pity that I don’t plan my work and study every day, but I have a good plan for my work.
Flag2: Take the technical side a step further by reading books on performance optimization, coroutines, and thermal repair
I didn’t read many technical books in 21 years, because I wanted to be promoted in 21 years, so I focused my energy on my work. In addition to fulfilling daily business requirements, I optimized the project by taking advantage of the gap between version preparation, testing and release, such as quality optimization (reducing the collapse rate, standardizing the development and release process) and optimizing the compilation efficiency of the project. It took half a year to optimize compilation efficiency and learned a lot of knowledge, but there is no summary yet, which is also a regret of 21 years. Flag3: Learn financial management and expand your side business
Finance and sideline this did not undertake set foot in, or the reason above, true energy is limited.
Flag4: Read more and output more. Read non-technical books
The reading sector held up well in the first half of the year, but softened a bit in the second. I read some books, but I gave up in the middle of reading them.
Outlook 2022,
If you don’t succeed this year, you need to think about the future. After all, from this year on, there will be no two people, but a family of three. OKR will also be piloted this year, with bimonthly reviews and plans. Because the annual target is too far away, easy to deviate from reality. Of course, bi-monthly goals are also based on annual goals.

- Learn related knowledge of performance optimization, implement and summarize in the project;
- Know some product information, after all, know the enemy, know the friend is not dangerous in a hundred battles.
