An offline data contest

1 night Party for the Kagglers

Kaggle Days, the world’s most famous offline data science event, will be held in Beijing, China for the first time on October 19-20. So far, six Kaggle Grandmasters have supported it. The China debut of Kaggle Days will be co-hosted by Kaggle, LogicAI and DeepTech, and co-sponsored by Futurelab before bedtime.

Kaggle, the world’s largest data contest platform and the world’s largest data science and machine learning community, was founded in 2010 and acquired by Google parent Company Alphabet in 2017. At present, its products include: data contest, data platform, data science development tools, data science education, community forum. Kaggle passed 2.5 million subscribers in early 2019. As of early August 2019, there are 148 grand masters, 1,242 grand masters, and 4,466 experts on the Kaggle platform (numbers are constantly changing).

Kaggle Days is a bold attempt to move Kaggle from online to offline. It is an introduction to the data science community and an offline data contest/hackathon. The guests of the event are all the top 1‰ masters of Kaggle platform, and the participants cover Kaggle members at home and abroad, including enterprises, financial institutions, consulting institutions, data scientists, scientific research institutions, science and technology enthusiasts, etc., and it is regarded as an excellent opportunity for Kagglers and data scientists to communicate, learn and compete offline.

For enterprises, by holding competitions on professional platforms, they can get in touch with the best data scientists and the most potential data science players, and guide high-quality talents to study data in line with the application scenarios of the company, so as to better understand the vision and appeal of the enterprise artificial intelligence. At the same time, through a subject setting matching with the actual demand and professional evaluation system, let the competitors produce valuable prediction algorithm, and solve the problem of enterprise talent recruitment most effectively through the form of competition.

Some guests are confirmed

Although the speakers in China are mainly Chinese or Kaggle masters based in China, we are also inviting foreign Kaggle masters to bring their different perspectives and experiences.

In the previous interview with mentors, we have introduced two of them in detail. So far, who are the six mentors confirmed to attend? What is their highest ranking and record on Kaggle?

Of course, we are actively inviting tutors, and we will release confirmed master tutors. If you don’t want to miss this opportunity to get hands-on experience in data science, please sign up now. If you have any questions about the event, leave a comment below.
