Here are nine PROMISING IT startups that have grown rapidly in recent years and are poised to make a breakthrough in 2018.

Auth0

Auth0 is a very successful Cyber security startup based in Seattle

Just five years old, Auth0 manages nearly 50 million logins a day for more than 2,000 enterprise customers in more than 70 countries. With these results, Auth0 raised $54.3 million in four separate funding rounds.

Auth0’s workforce is growing, from in-office employees to remote employees from more than 30 countries. Auth0 employees earn an average of $135,666 per year.

Shippo

Shippo is a fast growing API and dashboard. Shippo’s Dashboard could help e-commerce companies offer customers a variety of product shipping options. Brandless is a unique online grocery store and consumer shopping platform that filters brands from your everyday shopping experience. Everything on Brandless, from shampoo and soap to spoons and forks, is priced at $3. There is no brand at all, and the products simply add the name of their own item to the label.

Brandless has raised $50m from angel investors since launching in 2017 and plans to expand its business aggressively in the coming years. Its offices are in San Francisco and Minneapolis, and most of its employees are full-time.

Founded by a former Amazon employee, Convoy is a truck-matching service that connects shippers with shipping companies. It provides dashboards with shipment tracking, shipment details, and other important information to help shippers select and manage their shipments.

The idea apparently caught on and attracted some heavyweight investors, who put a total of $80.3 million into the company. Convoy now operates out of Washington and has a growing staff of full-time employees.
