At this past Flutter Engage event, we officially launched Flutter 2: the ability to create beautiful, fast, and portable applications for any platform. With Flutter 2, developers can use the same code base to build native apps for five operating systems: iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux; And building Web experiences for browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. Flutter can even be embedded into cars, TVS and smart home appliances, providing the most pervasive and portable experience for environmental computing.

    Jijia Huang, Head of Developer Market, Greater China, Google Platform and Ecosystem Business Group, will introduce Flutter Chinese market and community, as well as the process of this event.

  • Introduction to Flutter 2.0 update

    Zoey Fan, Google Product Manager for Flutter, reviews the highlights of this release, including the new features in Flutter 2.0 and Dart 2.12, and how our customers are using Flutter.

  • Use multiple lightweight engines

    Xiao Yu, Head of Google’s Flutter Mobile team, will explain how to create multiple instances of the Flutter engine using the new API in Flutter 2.0.

  • Parse mixed integration PlatformViews

    Hybrid Composition PlatformViews helps Flutter implement embedded Android and iOS UIs. Chris Yang, engineer from Google’s Flutter team, will explain Hybrid Composition PlatformViews at the engine level during the event.

  • Chinese developers case sharing

    Sensen Liu (aka Senny) and Huihui Yuan of Bytedance from Alibaba’s UC team will share their team’s challenges and practices in Flutter practice.

  • Community Roundtable Discussion

    Zoey will discuss developer growth and community development with representatives of Flutter community members.

  • Flutter Online Q&A

    The speakers of this event will answer questions raised by the developers during the registration and live broadcast.
