2. Raspberry PI boot install XRDP service

Get the Raspberry PI 4B package: It comes with an HDMI 7-inch capacitive screen and 64GB SD card. Default taobao sent over the SD card has a system, I here directly assembled can boot running.

Next, connect the keyboard and mouse to the Raspberry PI 4B, and click the WIFI icon in the upper right corner to connect to the WIFI hotspots around, mainly because you need to download something online.

After the network connection is successful, click the terminal icon at the top of the screen to open the command line terminal and download the XRDP package, which is required for the Windows remote desktop.

Then connect the network adapter of the Raspberry PI 4B to the network port of the laptop using a network cable. The RASPberry PI 4B will automatically obtain the IP address. You can see the IP address of the current network port by placing the mouse cursor on the WIFI icon of the Raspberry PI 4B.

As shown in the figure above, the IP address of the raspberry PI 4B cable network port is 169.254.47.158.

Note: The nic name of the wired network port is eth0

 

Once you know the RASPberry PI’s IP address, open the Remote desktop connection on your Windows computer.

Once connected, enter your user name and password as prompted.

The default PI 4B user name is PI and the password is Raspberry

 

Login succeeded.
