Material You, especially Dynamic color matching, will soon be available on more phones around the world with Android 12, including Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, RealMe, Xiaomi, Tecno, and more!

With the release of Android 12 and the introduction of Material You, users’ Android experience is smoother and more personalized than ever before. The gorgeous new design allows for experiences such as more dynamic touch ripples, silky scrolling and wider layouts. But the biggest highlight is always the dynamic color matching – when you choose your favorite wallpaper, the entire phone experience changes from the home screen to your favorite apps to better express your personality.

With Material You, personalization is now a defining feature of Android, and we’ll continue to build the ecosystem around it for years to come. Hopefully, we’ll see developers confidently join us on our journey to bring a more personalized look and feel to their apps.

As more Android 12 devices are released in the coming months, our ORIGINAL equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners will continue to work with us to ensure that key design apis, particularly around dynamic color matching, work consistently across the Android ecosystem to give developers peace of mind, Let users benefit from a seamless experience.
