The MAC cannot launch Parallels Desktop because the MAC operating system lacks some essential components. Parallels Desktop for Mac is an excellent piece of virtual machine software that runs on a Mac. Users can easily run Windows, Linux and other operating systems and applications on Mac OS X. Users can switch between Win and Mac, or even use both, without having to repeatedly reboot their computers. Interested partners remember to collect.

1. After upgrading to the new operating system, we click on the PD software and it will prompt “Parallels Desktop cannot be launched for MAC because some necessary components are missing in the MAC operating system”. We will pop up an error window to close, as shown in the picture below.

2. Search for Terminal, as shown in the following figure.

3. On the CLI of the terminal, enter Export SYSTEM_VERSION_COMPAT=1 and press Enter, as shown in the following figure.

4. Then continue typing “open -a Parallels\ desktop. app” in “Terminal”, as shown in the picture below.

5. At this point, PD is running, as shown below.
