Open source continues to deliver hackathons – the bugle calls

How many ideas can you deliver in 48 hours?

Jenkins Chinese Community is planning to launch a DevOPs-themed open source hackathon programming competition on October 25, 2019. The event aims to come up with solutions to IT challenges facing finance, energy, government, transportation and other scenarios. We hope that during this competition, you can also harvest the most valuable collision results among peers in the industry.

The event is hosted by Jenkins Chinese Community and supported by partners including Cloudbees, Miyun, Jingdong Cloud and Open Source. We welcome businesses and communities that care and care about open source and continuous delivery to join or support us. If you’re interested in working with us, you can reply behind the Jenkins account or send an email to [email protected].

The rules of the game

New code repositories created during the event will be hosted by Jenkins Chinese Community on the code cloud. Therefore, anyone can modify, distribute and so on according to the corresponding open source license.

  • All code (or documentation, design, etc.) work must be done on site, if found in advance or copycat, will be disqualified for that year and the next year
  • All projects must be capable of continuous construction. Projects that can achieve continuous delivery and grayscale release are given extra points
  • It is recommended to form a team of about 3 people with different skills and finish the project together

Selection criteria: teamwork, integrity, innovation, difficulty, public rating
