This blog adopts the Q&A method to interview a college friend and share his experience and journey of earning 200,000 yuan by outsourcing projects in his spare time.

This friend, his friend jokingly called: Mr. Wu, we have the same study experience. We got to know each other in the laboratory in the junior college, and were recommended for undergraduate study through the same competition. Later, we spent two years of undergraduate study in the same class, which can be regarded as establishing profound revolutionary friendship.

At present wu is the company’s technical director, can be said to be deserved.

Without further ado, here is the interview:

Q1: Looking back on the work and outsourcing projects in 2020, let’s talk about my personal journey and feelings.

A1: All things are difficult before they are easy. The first outsourcing project was not easy, and the lack of a macro grasp of the project led to slow progress in the later stage. But it can be solved with money, with some technical support.

In the process of project practice, I felt that my technical ability was still lacking and needed to be improved. The practice feedback cognition was also one of my gains.

Q2: It is difficult for Internet outsourcing platforms to have such high profits. Is it convenient to talk about how you receive projects?

A2: I personally do not take on projects through online platforms.

There are many entrepreneurial friends around me who will introduce some small projects. In addition, I often go on business trips and get to know many friends. They are OK with each other and feel quite reliable. In the case of technology and time are met, I will take on some projects.

Q3: Can you talk about what kind of projects you make so much money?

A3: Some industrial-level software and hardware projects, such as inspection robot, water level measuring platform, etc., are relatively popular without much highlight. Some technical problems may be encountered in the process, but they are all under control. In the process of doing projects, I also feel that the circle is too small and there are many rules and regulations.

Q4: How do you balance work, projects and life? How is the pressure? Does the girlfriend understand?

A4: I feel so stressed that I have no life. I work almost every day. My girlfriend often makes noise about it, and then I go shopping with her. (Animals!)

Q5: Do you have any suggestions for programmers to outsource projects?

A5: I think the following three points are very important: 1. God helps those who help themselves. Opportunities are for those who are prepared. 2. The sense of responsibility of outsourcing projects is very important. If you take people’s money, you should also do things well and get a good reputation. Don’t count on outsourcing projects to support your family!

Q6: Looking ahead to 2021, what are your plans and goals?

A6: Since ancient times, Chinese people have always had a passion for their country and family. If they are great, they will help the world, while if they are poor, they will be left alone. Naturally, AT this stage, I will focus on my “ego” first.

Outsourcing projects, for developers can be said to be one of the topics of fun.

There are many platforms to pick up projects on the Internet. What makes people hesitate to pick up projects is the price and reliability. The price is determined by value. Usually, the project price of online platform is about 10,000 or 20,000 yuan. It may also face problems such as long development cycle and late maintenance.

Outsourcing projects can also be exposed to technology leaks from the company they work for, which requires developers to consider profit and loss and never cross the red line.

Being prepared, maintaining the habit of lifelong learning, keeping a sharp business mind, and developing a holistic view of project development is the core of every project.
