We often say that when we were young, we always looked forward to growing up quickly and buying things we like with our own money. About the cognitive
Some fields are interesting only when you go deep into them and then come out. I said before that what seemed to me to be empty, abstract, now seems more and more intelligent. The road to simplicity, the truth is so simple, but behind those simple truth, is a lot of knowledge structure, a lot of experience in the back support. Like programmer code, abstraction means greater universality. A lot of things may be so little truth, but you want to understand this one or two truth, it may take a year or two or even a decade. About the team
A few years ago, I thought TL was the best person in the team, but when a better person came, I thought TL should be his. Not anymore. The real success of a TL lies in the number of talented people it cultivates, not just itself, at least not in its own professional ability. If you are the best professional in the team, it can only mean that the team is not leading well. A good team is certainly greater than the sum of the individual capabilities of each unit.
The most important feature of a team is the interaction among its members. Positive interaction creates synergy. What are the synergies? If two independent entities, 1+1=2, there is no synergy. 1+1>2, you have synergies, and that extra part is the result of synergies. The players of the dream team are all 2, so how to play, they are 2+2=4. They put on all kinds of plays on the field, and sometimes they screw up. It’s 2+2=3. But even so, it’s better than your 1+1=2.5. That’s star power. But if the Dream team practices and prepares like an NBA club, 2+2=5, that’s the real kicker, because it creates synergy and becomes a team.

About reading
In the past, it was more like buying books than reading them. Buying books in a row is a true reflection of my reading these years.
I think there are two reasons, one is that when I read a book, I always want to finish reading the book from the beginning, and I don’t feel at ease. What kind of psychology is this? Perfectionism. Not from a practical point of view. For example, some people decorate in order to look beautiful after taking photos and build an open kitchen, but they ignore many practical parts. This virtually added a lot of pressure to themselves, especially some big books, may feel unable to complete the task at the beginning.
On the other hand, a lot of books these days, the author for the word count will be ten sentences can be clearly written into a book.
