‘CMD + E’ or use the menu ‘View’ – ‘Open External’ to Open the External document mode.

Both document library mode and external mode support Full Text Search, and both can drag and drop or paste images into and display them directly. ‘CMD + V’ is pasted in JPG format and ‘CMD + Shift + V’ is pasted in PNG transparent format.

The document library mode is used for note-taking

The document library pattern uses a classification tree to organize and manage documents. It supports dragging and dropping or pasting inserted images and displaying them directly, while inserting non-images generates links. Support for importing Markdown or text documents into document libraries, as well as exporting entire categories or documents (optionally multiple) to HTML, PDF, or Markdown.

## 2.0 update for old users

In this update, the static site template has been changed. If you have changed the static site template, it is not generated as expected

~/Library/Containers/com.coderforart.MWeb/Data/Documents/MWeb/LocalData/SiteThemes

Find your original template in this location and replace it with the new one. The first time you open it, you will automatically upgrade the document library to version 2.0. The old document library is not deleted, you can download the document library in the

~/Library/Containers/com.coderforart.MWeb/Data/Documents/MWeb/LocalData/
