Multitouch is a powerful custom gesture control software for macOS. You can customize one, two, three, four, five, and Force Touch actions on trackPad and Magic Mouse. Click, Tap, Swipe and all sorts of combinations that allow you to do all sorts of weird things, It can be divided into shortcuts, expander, macOS built-in function keys, left and right mouse button clicks, window management, browser TAB management, and command line execution. It’s the Keyboard Maestro of gesture control.

Multitouch is easy to set up. Click on the plus sign in the lower left corner of the screen to add various actions. It is recommended that you get familiar with the one-finger actions first.

Here are a few examples:

Swipe right from the left edge of the TrackPad panel with two fingers, and optionally set the Fn key to switch app Switch, adjust Mac volume, adjust Mac screen brightness, and adjust keyboard backlight brightness.

The left finger is placed on the Tracpad panel, and the right finger is tapped on the Trackpad panel. At the same time, you can choose whether to shoot for two consecutive times. In this way, the success rate of individuals is relatively high.

For five finger actions, I chose keystroke recording, which means that when you make an action, you will input your pre-recorded key characters. This design is especially suitable for Text Expander. You can type in TE snippet characters. The TE is then automatically triggered to perform text extensions when you’re done with trackpad actions, which is self-evident because you skip manually typing in snippet characters and use gestures instead.
