Once we have created a Github action repository and written the action, we need to release the action to the market. This article documents the release process and the problems encountered by individuals
Release process
1. Click here to go to the action list
2. Select the action to Publish and click Publish Action to go to the details page
3. Click Draft a New Release
4. Check the Publish Action here and go to the Github Action marketplace
Github will verify whether the action repository name is duplicate. If any problem occurs, modify the action as prompted
Select the version you want to Publish and click Publish Release
Have a problem
Github will require two-factor authentication before Posting an action if you have not done so before. Two-factor authentication is available in two ways
1. The phone APP
2. SMS verification code (currently not supported in China)
So we have to go through the first way for now
Click “Use APP” to open two-factor authentication and enter the following page
Press Enter this Text Code and the following popup displays the two-factor authentication key
Wechat search second verification code small program, click “+”, scan code scan code will enter a page
Enter the key above, add a note if necessary, and click Add to generate a six-digit code
Enter into the input box below and click Continue to complete two-factor authentication!
