This article is specially used to collect Mbp shortcut keys, mainly I am forgetful, generally read after will forget, some not how commonly used over a period of time will forget… I remember a few more in the process of collecting them haha

I collected each shortcut in alphabetical order, making it much easier to dig through next time

Here we go

Command

Command -a: Select All (All)

Command-b: toggles the selected text in Bold

Command -c: Copy (Copy)

Command -d: copies the selected file, that is, copies a copy of the file.

Command-delete: moves the file to the wastebasket. ** command-**** Shift-**Delete: emptens the wastebasket.

Command-e: pushes out selected disks or volumes.

Command-f: Find, start a focused search in the Access window.

**Command -g: ** Find again: find the next location of the previously found item (mine seems to have no effect). To find the last location that appeared, press command-shift-g

Command-h: hides the currently running application window. Command-option ** -h: ** Hides other application Windows.

Command -i: Displays the Information window for the selected file.

Command-j: Access to display the display option.

Command -l: Cursor directly to Location

Command-m: Minimizes the front-most window to the dock. To minimize all Windows for the front-most application, press command-option-m.

Command-o: opens all options. Opening a File on a Mac is not like pressing Enter on Windows. (This is not very useful, if you have time to shortcut key click two open, is better than the space bar.)

**Command -p: ** Prints the current document.

Command-q: Quit the preceding application. (Exit shortcut for many programs)

Command-r: (1) If an alias is selected in Access, the original file corresponding to the selected alias is displayed. (Feeling unintelligible)

(2) Refresh or reload the page in some applications (such as Calendar or Safari). (Refresh in browser)

(3) In the “Software Update” preference Settings, check again for software updates. (Feels useless)

(4) After OS X is powered on, press the button immediately to enable the Recovery function of OS X. (Never tried)

(5) If a picture is selected in “Access”, it will Rotate ~ (Rotate)

Command-s: saves. Vscode to save the full file, please press command-shift-s.

Command-t: opens a new TAB. (Browser available)

Command-tab: Transfer to the next recently used application from a list of open applications, equivalent to Windows (Alt+Tab)

**Command -v: ** Paste

**Command -w: ** Closes the front-most window. To close all Windows for the application, press command-option -w.

The Command – X: shear

The Command – Z: revoked

Command- Right arrow: Moves the cursor to the end of the current line

Command- left arrow: Moves the cursor to the beginning of the current line

Command- down arrow: (1) In the document, move the cursor to the end of the document (2) in access, open the selected file

Command- up arrow :(1) in text, move the cursor to the beginning of text. (2) In access, open the folder containing the current folder, that is, open a folder in the current path.

Command – Open brackets ([) : Goes to the previous folder.

Command – Close brackets (]) : Goes to the next folder. The Command – Shift – * * * * * * * * vertical bar (|) : centered alignment.

Command – Open curly brace ({) : left justified.

Command – Close curly brace (}) : right aligned.

Command-plus or equal: Enlarges the page

Command- Minus: Shrinks the page

Command-space: Displays or hides the Focus search bar. To perform a focus search from the Access window, press Command – Option – space. (If you use multiple input sources to type in different languages, these shortcuts change the input source instead of showing focus. Learn how to change conflicting keyboard shortcuts.

Command-comma (,) : Turns on preferences for the most recent application. (Still useful)

(2) Open the Settings popover in Safari

Command-1: displays items in the Access window as ICONS.

Command-2: Displays items in the Access window in a list.

Command-3: Displays items in the Access window in a column.

Command-4: Displays items in the Access window in gallery style.

Command – Turn up brightness: Turn on or off the target display mode.

Command – Lower Brightness: Turn video mirroring on or off when your Mac is connected to multiple monitors.

Command – Slash (/) : Hides or displays the status bar in the Access window.

Command – Scheduling center: displays desktops.

**Command-****Option-**C: Copy style: copies the selected formatting Settings to the clipboard.

**Command-****Option-**D: Shows or hides the program dock.

**Command-****Option-**F: Go to the search bar.

**Command-****Option-**I: Displays or hides the inspector window.

**Command-****Option-**L: Access, open the “Download” folder.

**Command-****Option-**P: Hides or displays the path bar in the Access window.

**Command-****Option-**T: Displays or hides the toolbar in the application.

Here’s a picture so you can remember

Command-option-control-power button: Exit all applications, allow you to save documents, and then power off

Command-option ** -ESC: ** Opens the Forced Exit window. If any application does not respond, you can select forced exit from the window list

Command-option ** -p -r: ** Press immediately after startup to reset NVRAM. Sometimes the computer will have a minor problem, and resetting NVRAM is your first choice to try to fix it, besides rebooting.

Command -option-s: (1) Save all vsCode files. (2) Hide or display the sidebar in the “Access” window.

Command-option -v: (1) is equivalent to clipping files in Windows. Copy the file at another location (command-c). Press the shortcut key at the destination location and the file will be clipped to that location. (2) In the document, Paste style: apply the copied style to the selection. **Command-**** option-shift -**V: Paste and match styles: Applies the styles of the surrounding content to the items pasted in that content.

**Command-****Shift-**C: Open the “computer” window. Google can open the console, which is really useless.

**Command-****Shift-**D :(1) open desktop access (2) Google opens the Add bookmark popup. (3) Nail opening DING

**Command-****Shift-**F: Opens the Recently Used window, which shows all the files you have recently viewed or changed.

**Command-****Shift-**G: Opens the Go to Folder window.

**Command-****Shift-**H: Open the personal folder of the current macOS user account.

**Command-****Shift-**I: Access the iCloud cloud disk.

**Command-****Shift-**K: The Network window is displayed.

**Command-**** shift-**** N: ** Create a new folder in Access.

**Command-****Shift-**O: Open the files folder.

**Command-****Shift-**P: Page Settings: Displays a window for selecting document Settings.

**Command – ****Shift – **Q: Log out of your macOS user account. You will be prompted to confirm. To log out immediately without confirmation, press option-shift-command -q.

**Command-****Shift-**R: Opens the Airdrop window.

**Command-****Shift-**S: Displays the “Save as” dialog box or copies the current document.

**Command-****Shift-**T: Displays or hides the tabs in the Access window.

**Command-****Shift-**U: Opens the Utilities folder.

Command-shift **-3: ** Captures the entire screen to a file

Command-shift-4: Intercepts the selected screen area to a file, or presses the space bar to capture only one window

Command-shift-control-3: Captures the entire screen to the clipboard

Command-shift-control-4: Intercepts the selected screen area to the clipboard, or presses the space bar to capture only one window

**Command-****Shift-**5: Take screenshots or record screens in macOS Mojave or later. You can also use shift-command-3 or shift-command-4 to take screenshots. Learn more about screenshots.

Command-**** shift-**** minus (-) : shrinks the selection.

Command-**** shift-**** plus (+) : magnifies the selection. Command – the equal sign (=) accomplishes the same function.

Command – Shift – * * * * * * * * the question mark (?) : Open the Help menu.

**Command-****Control-**F: Use the application in full screen (if supported).

**Command-****Control-**T: Adds the options to the sidebar (OS X Mavericks or later).

** command-control -**Q: Lock the screen immediately.

**Command — ****Control-** Space bar: Displays a character inspector from which you can select emoticons and other symbols.

Options

Option-right arrow: Moves the cursor to the end of the next word

Option-left arrow: Moves the cursor to the beginning of the previous word

Option – Scheduling Center: Enable scheduling Center preferences.

Option Immediately after startup, the boot manager is displayed. If the Mac has dual systems or a USB boot drive, you can select the boot drive in the boot manager

Control

** control-a: ** move to the beginning of A line or paragraph (ahead)

Control-b: Move back one character. (backward)

Control — E: Moves to the end of a line or paragraph. (end)

Control -f: Move forward one character. (front)

Control — L: Places the cursor or selected content in the center of the visible area.

Control -n: move down one line. (next)

Control -o: Inserts a new line after the insertion point.

Control -p: move up one line. (prev)

Control -t: swaps the character after the insertion point with the character before the insertion point. (transform)

** Control-tab: browser, ** to the next Tab

Control – Down arrow: Shows all the Windows of the uppermost application.

Option — Keyboard brightness: Turn on the keyboard preferences. This shortcut can be used with any keyboard brightness key.

Control-shift-tab: browser redirects to previous Tab

Option-shift – Turn up the volume or option-Shift – Turn down the volume: Adjust the volume with a smaller stride.

Control-shift – Power button* or Control — Shift — Media Eject (Control — Shift — Media Eject): Put the monitor to sleep. 

Control – Power button* orControl — Media push key : Displays a dialog asking if you want to reboot, sleep, or shut down.

Control — Command — Power button * : Forces the Mac to restart without prompting whether to store any open documents that are not stored.

Control — Command — Media Eject (Control — Command — Media Eject): Exit all applications and restart your Mac. If any open document has unstored changes, you will be asked if you want to store those changes.

Control – Option – Command – Power button* or Control – Option – Command – Media push key : Quit all apps and shut down your Mac. If any open document has unstored changes, you will be asked if you want to store those changes.

Fn

Fn-delete is the equivalent of Delete on a full-size KEYBOARD on a PC, that is, backward Delete

Fn – Up arrow scroll Up a Page

Fn – Down arrow to scroll Down a Page

Fn – Left arrow scroll to start of document (Home)

Fn – Right arrow scroll to End

**return: ** This is not a shortcut key, click on the file, press to rename the file

** space bar :(1) access, ** quickly view the selected file, that is, the preview function. (2) In the browser, scroll down.

**Shift- Space bar: ** In the browser, scroll up. Arrow can be rolled up, down, left, or right. Hold Option+ arrow to roll large (large), hold Command+ arrow to roll to the end

Power button: Press it to turn the Mac on or wake the Mac from sleep. Press and hold the button for 1.5 seconds to put the Mac to sleep. * Holding it down will force your Mac to shut down.

Arrow sets

  • Right arrow: Access, open the selected folder. This shortcut only works in the list view.

  • Left arrow: Accessing, close the selected folder. This shortcut only works in the list view.

  • Fn – Up arrow: Page Up: Scroll Up a Page.

  • Fn – Down arrow: Page Down: Scroll Down a Page.

  • **Fn — left arrow: **Home: Scroll to the beginning of the document.

  • Fn — Right arrow: End: Scroll to the End of the document.

  • Command – Up arrow: Moves the insertion point to the beginning of the document.

  • Command – Down arrow: Moves the insertion point to the end of the document.

  • Command – Left arrow: Moves the insertion point to the beginning of the current line.

  • Command – Right arrow: Moves the insertion point to the end of the current line.

  • Option – Left arrow: Moves the insertion point to the beginning of the word above.

  • Option – Right arrow: Moves the insertion point to the end of the next word.

  • Shift-command – Up arrow: Select the text between the insertion point and the beginning of the document.

  • Shift-command – Down arrow: Select the text between the insertion point and the end of the document.

  • Shift-command – Left arrow: Selects the text between the insertion point and the start of the current line.

  • Shift-command – Right arrow: Selects the text between the insertion point and the end of the current line.

  • Shift – Up arrow: Extends the text selection to the nearest character on the same horizontal position on the previous line.

  • Shift — Down arrow: Expands the text selection to the nearest character on the next line at the same level.

  • Shift – Left arrow: Expands the text selection to the left by one character.

  • Shift – Right arrow: Expands the text selection by one character to the right.

  • Option-shift-up arrow: extends the text selection to the beginning of the current paragraph, and again to the beginning of the next paragraph.

  • Option-shift-down arrow: extends the text selection to the end of the current paragraph, or to the end of the next paragraph.

  • Option-shift-left arrow: expands the text selection to the first word of the current word, and presses again to the first word of the next word.

  • Option-shift-left arrow: Expands the text selection to the end of the current word, and presses again to the end of the next word.
