Abstract: This share mainly introduces the principles and best methods of collecting logs related to Kubernetes, including service application logs, Kubernetes platform logs, ServiceMesh/Istio logs, Ingress logs and so on. It also shares how to make the most of the collected log data, including real-time retrieval, log analysis, visualization, and rule-based alarms.

This topic describes how to collect kubernetes-related logs, including service application logs, Kubernetes platform logs, ServiceMesh/Istio logs, and Ingress logs. It also shares how to make the most of the collected log data, including real-time retrieval, log analysis, visualization, and rule-based alarms. Finally, we will briefly introduce some cutting-edge technologies of log service accumulated in AIOps in recent years and how to better operate and maintain Kubernetes platform based on these technologies, including log clustering analysis, automatic detection of system anomalies, time series trend prediction, etc.
