With this extension, we don’t need to manually open Chrome Developer Tools to emulate the device:
Search for keywords in Chrome Web Store device Emulator:
Once installed, click the yellow icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the user-Agent drop-down:
The page will then be rerequested using the selected User-Agent.
The picture below is an example of me using the user-Agent corresponding to Xiaomi mobile phone to open Zhihu website on my laptop. You can see the prompt that can only be seen on mobile devices appeared at the bottom of the screen: Open in App
This button will not appear when you browse the page on a normal PC, as shown below:
You can not only select the user-Agent corresponding to mobile devices, but also choose to simulate various types of browsers, such as 360 browser, Cheetah browser and so on.
Internet Explorer, Firebox is certainly not a problem.
