The Edge Canary version offers a performance mode for improved memory, CPU, and battery usage
It’s unclear exactly how the performance mode changes Edge, but it does affect the functionality of the Sleep TAB. If you enable performance mode, the sleep TAB will be locked for a timeout of 5 minutes.
Microsoft introduced sleep tabs in Edge earlier this year, which automatically frees up system resources from inactive tabs when you have several tabs open. This helps the tabs in use run better and prevents the browser from hogging memory and CPU resources in the background.
Edge’s performance mode is likely to be most useful for laptop users, since browsers tend to have a big impact on battery life. Google has also been working to improve Chrome’s performance and battery usage over the past six months.

QUIC and HTTP/3 support is available in Firefox Nightly and Beta versions
Support for QUIC and HTTP/3 is enabled by default in Firefox Nightly and Firefox Beta. Firefox plans to release this feature in Firefox 88 Stable. HTTP/3 will be available by default by the end of May.
