It’s been 0202 years, Windows 10 has been out for more than 5 years, and I personally switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10 as soon as Windows 10 was out. In my experience, I found Windows 10 to be much better than Windows 7, and improved in many ways. Of course, this is just a personal feeling, if you have a different idea, do not rush to argue with me, after all, it is to each man’s taste, then let’s talk about how to use Windows 10 gracefully. These are only personal experience, summary of the cost of the article for your reference.
This article is based on the Windows 10 Professional edition (20H2) configuration and screenshots, theoretically applicable to all versions of Windows 10, slightly out of place, please forgive me, you can try the solution on the net.

1. System Settings
1.1 Setting the Resource Manager
- In view options, check the file extension and turn on option Settings.
- In the general options, “open when open File Explorer” after the drop-down box set to this computer, and then in the “privacy” will be about quick access related options unchecked, and finally click “confirm”;
1.2 Changing the Default Storage Location
Open the Settings, select the system Settings under the storage subcolumn, and then change the location of the new content to save, change the default C disk to the disk you want to store, my Settings to D disk as an example, depending on personal preferences, the setting steps are as follows;
1.3 Changing the Default Paths of Common Folders
For most people, desktop content is stored in the C drive. This is in line with the use of most people’s habits, but for me, I am a small clever ghost, the system was destroyed and reinstalled system scared, so I generally will be the desktop and other content saved in other non-system disk location. If you want to change the default path of the following desktop, document, download, etc. (the default is disk C), how should you operate? The following is the desktop as an example, the operation of other folders are the same!
- Select desktop, right mouse button, select Properties;
- Select the location and modify your custom path in the box below;
- Change it to your custom path and click OK.
2. Software installation
First of all, not to the bottom software advertising ah, just my own experience down, feel suitable for their own, of course, you can also have their own choice, all by personal preference, ha ha.
2.1 input method
- Palm input method: 360 products, no advertising, farewell to harassment.
- QQ input method: goose factory produced, doutu is very convenient!
2.2 Compression Software
- Bandizip: a Korean company produced decompression software, speed and appearance level coexist, the previous version of no advertising, now the new version of the added advertising, but also do not affect the use of.
- 7-zip: powerful, but appearance level slightly low, appearance level party is not recommended, 😄;
- 360 compression: 360 again, but completely rest assured, this is not like XXX security center so forehead, how to say, very conscience!
2.3 Communication Browsing
- Wechat: This goes without saying, everyone more or less need to use.
- Tim: QQ office edition. Say goodbye to all the bells and whistles and focus on office work.
- Chrome: Google’s browser, by far the largest in the world. You may say you can’t use Google, but with a little tweaks, it’s still the most powerful browser out there.
- New Edge: Finally, the giant hardware has given in. Can Edge compete with Chrome with Chromium? I think there’s a chance!
2.4 Text Editing
- Typora: Cross-platform Markdown editor, which I personally find better than many of the premium ones.
- Mark Text is an open source, cross-platform Markdown editor with bucket chart support.
- PicGo: With the picture upload tool used by the former two, you can build your own picture bed to achieve the management of pictures.
2.5 Code editor
- VS Code: This is a hard product that allows for corner overtaking and is now the first choice for most programmers.
- Atom: A Github product, but now that Github has been acquired by Giant Hard, it’s also called A Giant hard product.
- Sublime Text: an editor with a high level of appearance.
- Notepad++ : it’s kind of cool right now.
2.6 Uninstalling Software
- IObit: a recommended software uninstall tool that automatically removes dependencies and monitors software in real time.
