YouTube is rich in video resources, especially original content. Here are the steps to bulk download YouTube playlist/channel videos:
1. Download Gihosoft TubeGet for Windows and Mac. Choose the appropriate version for your computer system. Note If you downloaded the software from a third-party site, pay attention to the release date and download the latest version.
2. After downloading, install it step by step. During the installation process, except for setting the installation language and installation location, you can click “Next” directly without any extra Settings.
3. The next step is to get the PLAYlist URL. Go to YouTube, open the playlist or channel you want to download, and copy the link to the video in the address bar. Usually you’ll need to copy links to lists, but copying links to individual videos can also be downloaded. But when parsing, there’s one more selection step, which we’ll talk about next.
4. Open Gihosoft TubeGet and click the “Paste link” button. The software starts to obtain the necessary parameters and information of the link. Once the link is resolved, the resolution selection window pops up. Note: Due to the large number of lists, parsing takes a little longer than parsing a single video.
5. If you copy the link of a single video, click the “Paste link” button, the software will prompt you whether you want to batch download the whole list of videos, just choose the second option.
6. After parsing, the resolution screen pops up with 720P, 1080P, 2K, and 4K options. If you choose 1080P, videos larger than that will be downloaded at 1080P, and videos smaller than 1080P will be downloaded at the maximum resolution. This interface you can also check the specified video to download.
7. Click the Download button, the playlist starts to download, the progress bar starts to move, and the download percentage is displayed next to it. List to download 5 videos at the same time, after downloading a video, to download the next video. If you can’t download it all at once, you can click the save button and download it again. Breakpoint uploading will keep the video intact.
Matters needing attention:
1. If the list contains deleted videos or private videos, it will be skipped automatically during parsing. The number of videos displayed after parsing is smaller than the original number.
2. If you can’t download the software all at once, click the “Save” button when you close the software, so that you can download it again next time.
