How the Angular Component renderer is created and how Angular version numbers are determined

My Angular app has a selector app-root Component:

At runtime, create a Component reference based on this selector:

Create the root Component view:

And the View renderer:

The app-root node is empty and no attributes are generated:

Set hostAttr to app-root:

Set the VERSION number for the Angular app. The VERSION number is retrieved from the VERSION variable:
