How do I log in to your WordPress admin Dashboard

WordPress is a content management system (CMS), which means it’s a tool to simplify the process of generating, storing, and displaying Web materials. WordPress began as a tool to improve the regular typography of everyday writing. However, it is used as a blogging tool, and as we approach the fourth quarter of this year, WordPress remains the most widely used CMS system, not only in blogs. WordPress is a fully open source application that is updated regularly. The repository can be found here. Like any other open source software, WordPress relies on its community.

Log in to your WordPress admin Dashboard: It’s normal for new users to have problems finding login urls after installing a self-hosted WordPress site for the first time. Besides, it’s too easy to forget or misplace your own login URL. You may want to generate posts, add plug-ins, or perform other “back-end” activities on your WordPress site from time to time. This is usually done through your WordPress dashboard. This article will help you access your WP dashboard.

Before you can access the WordPress dashboard, you need a few items:

  1. WordPress backend URL: If you have WordPress installed in the root/home folder of your domain, the URL for accessing WordPress will look something like:example.com/wp-admin.
  2. Username: This is the username you created when you first installed WordPress.
  3. Password: This is the password you created during your WordPress installation. If you email installation details during installation, it will be in that email as well.

Follow these steps to log in to your WordPress admin dashboard:

Step 1: To get started, open your Web browser and go to example.com/wp-admin or example.com/wp-login. Insert your domain name instead of example.com. This means that to access the WordPress dashboard, simply add /wp-admin to the end of the URL where you installed WordPress.

Note: Remember that the URL will be example.com/wp-admin if you have installed WordPress at the document root of the URL. If you have WordPress installed in a folder called “test” in your domain, you will navigate to example.com/test/wp-admin.

Step 2: Enter the username and password you created when you installed WordPress, and click the Login button.

Step 3: After login, the dashboard should look like this:
