Petal Maps Platform is a Map service Platform developed by Huawei based on Map Kit, Site Kit, Location Kit and other open capabilities. It is designed to address travel pain points such as shifting Location of urban high-rise canyons, errors in primary and secondary road decisions, delays in changing lanes of long solid lines, etc. The use of super GNSS technology greatly improves the positioning and identification accuracy of both sides of the road in the city and canyon, provides users with accurate navigation experience, and realizes accurate guidance for users, efficient and safe driving. Bolt, a TOP European ride-hailing app, integrates Petal Maps Platform positioning services, which significantly improves roadside positioning accuracy and provides lane attribute based guidance for drivers, addressing the previously inaccurate positioning of ride-hailing cars. Bolt’s app is now available in 35 countries around the world, providing local users with a premium user experience and improving the mapping and navigation experience of ride-hailing drivers.
High precision positioning, help the application of accurate service
With the support of HMS Core Map Kit, Site Kit, and Location Kit, Petal Maps Platform can build an error model based on atmospheric error, satellite error, and device error, and improve positioning accuracy through calculation. This is Petal Maps Platform, which allows users to navigate with precision and visualization in this direction. Last year, AmAP made the first lane-level navigation experience in the industry by integrating Huawei’s high-precision positioning capability, and launched a dynamic guidance function for difficult and complex junctions to minimize the possibility of users taking the wrong road or taking a detour and improve users’ driving navigation experience. Domestic well-known express delivery and logistics industry also make use of the platform’s high-precision positioning ability to make up for the inaccurate parcel location in the previous logistics process, enabling users to track the parcel location in real time.
