Imperceptibly a year has passed, and can sigh time flies really fast

Why do we feel like time passes faster and faster every year?

Before I saw a saying on the network, the view is novel, share:

At the age of ten, one year is one tenth of what your life used to be, and each year is filled with new things. By the time you’re twenty, a lot of things aren’t that new. By the time you’re 30, you’re doing the same thing every day, and one year is one thirtieth of your past life. The year of thirty must be perceptually much faster than the year of ten. And when you’re in your 70s and 80s, it feels like time goes by really, really, really fast.

Does that make sense? Think it’s a little scary. The same 365 days, why does time seem to pass so slowly as a child, so what can we do now?

What we should do is to expand the width of our lives, to explore the unknown things as much as possible, to try the things we have never done, to increase our knowledge, to see the world.

On this New Year’s Eve, don’t forget these three things:

A, gratitude

Be grateful for the people who have helped you, who have helped you grow, who have cared about you, who have cared about you…

Be thankful for all the good encounters in the world.

Especially thank the people who lend you money, and if you still owe money, be clear about your repayment plan (don’t assume it’s the guy who owes you money).

Review the past year

Review your goals for the beginning of next year. Distance from the target is still poor, to make a summary of their own, as this year’s account.

If you do a good job, give yourself some reward and treat yourself appropriately. Do not lose if you do not do well, after all, the bad year is going to pass, the New Year has a new start.

Looking ahead to the New Year

Set goals, flags, and be tough on yourself.

When setting goals, keep your life and work separate. For goal setting, it is recommended to refer to the SMART principle. Recently I have been studying OKR, which is a set of management tools and methods to identify and track goals and their achievement, and can also be applied to the formulation and management of personal goals.

Two points are emphasized:

1. Aim for what you can achieve

2. Make your goals challenging

Do have goals and plans, in order to better expand the width of life.
