Open source is one of the most frequently mentioned terms by enterprise and IT developers. According to the 2019 Open Source Industry White Paper released by the MiIT, 86.7% of enterprises have applied open source technology in China, and 10.6% of enterprises plan to apply open source technology, indicating that open source technology has been widely accepted by enterprises.
The benefits of open source technology for enterprises and developers are varied. According to the survey of white paper, enterprises pay the highest attention to technology maturity, accounting for 68.7%; Second, 46.3% of enterprises consider feature richness when choosing open source technologies. In addition, 43.3% of enterprises chose open source technologies to reduce application deployment time.
With China’s first open source incubation base “Shenzhen international Open Source Valley” officially settled in Futian District, Shenzhen Municipal government will hold an open source technology seminar on “Open Source Festival” from October 15 to 17, 2020.
At 2pm on October 16th, a number of technical experts from Tencent will give a speech on the two technical topics of Tencent TKE Stack enterprise cloud native platform and TencentOS Tiny Internet of Things operating system, showing Tencent’s efforts and achievements in these two open source projects in an all-round way.
Participants will be able to fully understand the experience and methods of Tencent’s open source practice in large-scale software projects, and gain inspiration and wisdom on the road of enterprise open source.
