Really went to Tencent

That’s right, the glacier went to Tencent. But not to work, but to listen, to communicate, to learn, to share.

Invited by a friend, I went to Tencent for exchange and study not long ago. The harvest is still quite big, today, with friends to share this time to Tencent exchange and learning experience.

Recently, one of my good friends, a TN-level big man of Tencent, organized a technology exchange and sharing meeting within the team. I was honored to be invited. Haha, when he invited me, he said very directly: please come here, because you are good at technology, you can share your experience with us, learn from each other. After hearing this, I was really a little flattered, a Tn level of big guy invited me to their team to exchange experience, it was really unexpected.

But say again, this time go to exchange, itself is a very good learning opportunity, and it is the opportunity of free exchange learning! So I embrace the mentality of learning agreed.

Study and communication

For two days after receiving the invitation, I was actually struggling with what to share. After several thoughts, I’d like to share some big data that I’m good at. The title of my share is “The Large-scale Practice of the New Generation of Big Data Engine Flink in the Enterprise”, mainly sharing my practical experience in the process of using Flink framework to analyze massive data, why I choose Flink, the application scenarios of Flink, what business problems I have helped enterprises solve, what pitfalls I have stepped in, and what the solutions are. How I adapted the Flink source code to fit my company’s business scenarios when the Flink framework did not meet business requirements.

Of course, in the process of sharing, I also said some of my personal insights and experience in the field of big data. The overall atmosphere of sharing was relaxed and active, and the partners present were also very active and asked some in-depth questions. I also talked about these issues with you.

In fact, we can see from the scene that the friends of Dafa have a strong desire for technology and knowledge. A lot of people ask me: so many technology, how do you learn? In fact, the answer to this question is very simple: it is the accumulation of unceasingly in the work, after work, a lot of knowledge can not have time to systemic study, this requests us in the usual work pay more attention to in the process of accumulation, summed up more, think more, the project will be done, learned the technology and skills, really into their own experience.

Because this time I’m mainly sharing the Flink framework for big data, some people want to start with Hadoop to enter the big data field. So, take this opportunity I also recommended to them my personal publication “massive data processing and big data technology actual fight” this book (at present, Tmall, JINGdong, Dangdang are sold), hey hey, recommended effect is good oh ~~

The sharing time is relatively short, only about half an hour for each person. After the meeting, I talked with other friends about various technical topics, including: big data, middleware, open source projects and so on. And some wild imaginations.

Generally speaking, the goods received in this learning exchange are quite large, and it can be seen that the partners in Dafa are also very enthusiastic about learning technology and knowledge.

Summing up

Through this learning and communication, my first feeling is that the friends in Dchang are very easy-going. For example, my Tn level big guy friend is very modest. In dafang, you also need to learn. Many people think that entering a dafang is just like entering a stable enterprise. In fact, the competition in the big factory is still quite big. There are two kinds of competition, one is the competition between teams, one is the competition between individuals. If you want to continue to gain competitive advantage in a large factory, then you need to have a sense of danger in times of peace, constantly improve their level and awareness. This will help you stand out in an increasingly competitive environment.

If you want to be the best in your field, set a goal for yourself right now and keep moving toward it. Again: even the best technology is worth the stupid insistence that you become a technologist by focusing on one area.

Finally, I would like to give some advice to my friends. If you want to enter a big factory, you should cram at the last minute, and you will definitely make progress. Focus on the accumulation of peacetime work, continue to sum up, continue to review, continue to reflect, and continue to improve themselves. Many people interview for the sake of the interview, and memorize questions temporarily for the interviewer. In fact, these are not necessary, as long as the work process seriously summed up, serious accumulation, into the factory is very natural things. In addition, the interviewer can hear how good the candidate is during the interview. So don’t fool the interviewer, he knows more than you do.

Well, that’s all for today, about the specific content I share, I will sort out and post it, you have any questions directly in the following comments. You can also add me to wechat: sun_shine_lyz, I pull you into the group, study together, communicate together. ~ ~
