EMQ X project has been open source so far, with more than 500W cumulative downloads and more than 7K GitHub stars. At the same time, EMQ has opened source edge computing products such as Kuiper and NanoMQ, as well as the latest HStream database. There’s no question that our open source community is growing. In the official EMQ technology community, we see new people joining every day, and the discussion about EMQ and the Internet of Things never stops. We felt it was time to provide a more open and accessible platform for the community.

EMQ community is now online! Any Questions? Ask EMQ and the Community!

Q&a community is divided into EMQ X, HStream, Kuiper, Neuron, NanoMQ, Erlang&Haskell&Hamler, tools, Internet of things, advice & help. Relevant questions and ideas can be posted in the corresponding content section, welcome to discuss.

For a pleasant and productive experience, we suggest following the following process
  • Search for similar content in your community by keyword
  • If no, select the corresponding partition and create a theme
  • Clearly describe the problem or point you are trying to make in the title and body
  • Post topics and engage in friendly communication with those who respond

When you contribute a good topic or answer to the community, you will be rewarded with badges. Our badge reward system is constantly being improved.

One tip: Future badges can be exchanged for EMQ souvenirs. I heard that smart friends will hoard them in advance:)

There are also EMQ engineers lurking in the community, and you’ll have a chance to talk to them, and maybe something you say will inspire them to create something more powerful and useful.

In order to build a civilized and high-quality community, we should abide by the following community rules:
  • Be kind to each other and be patient
  • Discussions should focus on EMQ-related products or Iot technologies
  • Do not forward unauthorized non-original articles
  • Irrelevant advertisements are prohibited

Open source is all about collaboration and sharing. We hope that the EMQ q&A community can become a bond between users in the community and between users and EMQ, learning from each other, influencing each other, and growing together.

Asking a question can not only solve the questioner’s confusion, but also provide valuable experience for more people to come after. So don’t worry that by asking, you’re just getting — you’re giving something to the other person, too. When your question is answered by other enthusiastic members of the community, simply thank you sincerely and put that gratitude into the next problem you can solve. Spread like a spark, we will reap a bright and prosperous together.

Eggs in time

All right, that’s it. It’s Easter egg time.

To celebrate the launch of the EMQ community, we are hosting an EMQ X “Fun Meeting” where you can share your problems, disappointments, and frustrations with EMQ X and give you a chance to make fun of it!

EMQ engineers lurking in the community are ready to welcome everyone’s jokes, and we will follow the principle of “change if there is, encourage if there is not” to receive all these suggestions.

Click here to enter the community EMQ X section, find the top activity post, leave your joke! (If you don’t want to make fun of us, it’s ok to post about our engineer brother and sister!)
