Note: this experiment is very simple Experiment and instructions have been uploaded on my lot: https://github.com/Icarusintheworld/ComputerNework_guidebook.git experimental time: I. Experiment preparation group members read the experiment instruction in advance to understand the basic steps and operating environment. This experiment is relatively simple, and we only need to configure the FTP server according to the instructions. However, due to the configuration of the computer room, our computer cannot configure FTP server under the Windows Server2003 environment. Therefore, the teacher assigned real addresses to each cabinet for us to remotely log in the corresponding server for configuration.

Ii. Division of labor and task arrangement

Internet is a very complex computer environment, there are PC, workstation, MAC, mainframe. There are tens of millions of computers connected to the Internet, and these computers may run different operating systems, including Unix servers, Dos, Windows PCS and MacOS, etc., and the file exchange between various operating systems requires the establishment of a unified file transfer protocol. This is called FTP. File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a Protocol in the TCP/IP Protocol group. The FTP protocol consists of two parts: the FTP server and the FTP client. The FTP server is used to store files. Users can use the FTP client to access resources on the FTP server through FTP. There are different FTP applications based on different operating systems, and all of these applications adhere to the same protocol so that users can transfer their files to others or retrieve files from other user environments.

Create a real directory. 2. Create a virtual directory that can be copied to the desktop. 3. Create a login user. 4. Connect to the FTP site

V. Problems encountered in the experiment and Solutions During the establishment of Gloria users, the team found an error on the computer, indicating that the Gloria account already existed. After discussion, we believed that the previous team had already created this account in the experiment, and did not delete the account, so our computer showed that the account existed.
