Screenshots, is a very simple thing, now can screenshots of a lot of tools. But most tools are not good enough for intercepting code, such as large chunks of code with multiple screen heights. Here are two small and beautiful tools designed specifically for code screenshots.

On this day, the recommendation code screenshots tool is not the point, the point is to use them.

Arrived again once a year of seven (abuse) evening (enough) section, finally can well with goddess (male god) vindicate, for a in writing (generation) word (code) floor (ground) hard to earn (move) money (brick) of the white (work) get (people), certainly to come up with their own special skills. Whether you’re buying or eating, whatever makes the goddess happy is a good way to do it.

Here is a different way to express your feelings, with a heart full of deep love, and a code for you to express your feelings, may be able to make the goddess’s heart a warm, happy face.

Tool post

First of all, to do a good job, you must sharpen your tools.

Polacode

Polacode (https://github.com/octref/polacode) is a Visual Studio Code plug-ins, you can use it to Code snippets to generate a high-resolution image. One great feature is that you can generate images exactly as you choose in VS Code in the font and theme, and you can easily change the font and theme to suit your preferences.

Here’s a function from React to see what happens.

Installation:

  • Open your Visual Studio Code

  • Open menu bar View ==> Extensions

  • Enter Polacode in the input box, search for and install it

Use:

  • Use the shortcut keys Cmd + Shift + P (or Ctrl + Shift + P in Windows) to open the command panel

  • Type Polacode and press Enter to see the following

  • To make a copy of the image you want to capture, click on the code area on the right in the image above

  • Directly Cmd + V (or Ctrl + V for Windows), you can drag the middle of the image to adjust the layout of the screenshot content, such as crossing lines

  • Then click the button under the code block to export the image

Carbon

Carbon (https://carbon.now.sh/) is an online tool for capturing code blocks that requires no installation and can be accessed directly from the website. It offers many options, you can choose your own programming language, color theme, background color, font, and so on, and quickly customize it to your liking. Also, you can tweet quickly (with your own ladder) and export images to SVG, PNG, etc.

Compared to Polacode, no installation is required, configuration is flexible, and customization is very strong. Another point is that there are three small buttons on the upper left corner of MacOs, which suddenly looks like a sense of design. Is there any?

Take the example above and use the default Settings to see what it looks like:

Operation:

  • Open the website and paste your code into the input box

  • Select the corresponding programming language, select font, theme, and color……

  • Click Save Image to export the Image

Practical article

In the eyes of our brick workers, brick (code) is the most beautiful, and we should write the most beautiful things into poems for our favorite goddess (male god).

Next, write some code love poems and use your primordial powers.

“I finally got you, but I didn’t give up.”

“Just once”

“Company is the longest confession of love.”

“Courage”

“Little Love Song”

Feel free to write your code love poem in the comments below, and maybe your goddess will read it.

Just for your reference, if it doesn’t work, go buy flowers, chocolates, lipstick, bags,… Maybe there’s still time.
